Ben Logan

Director & Lead Instructor

 

As a leadership and high-performance specialist, Ben’s passion and purpose lie in working with teams and individuals, teaching strategies for high performance, leadership, and resilience, and helping them apply these skills to their business, personal, and family lives.

 

With 15 years of experience as a professional triathlete, Ben developed a deep understanding of high-performance mindset strategies and the science of human physiology. This knowledge became the foundation for his career in leadership development. Throughout the past eight years, Ben has architected and led personal development programs, leadership and resilience training, retreats, and expeditions, combining science-based methods with real-world insights and rigorous field testing.

 

During this time, he has collaborated with professional sports teams, executive teams, and a variety of organizations and companies, equipping them with the skills to become more efficient, capable, and resilient.

Shane Irving

 Leadership Director 

 

Shane Irving exemplifies leadership with a diverse and accomplished background. As a PhD Candidate and a former 25-year Special Operations veteran, Shane has demonstrated a commitment to excellence and resilience. His leadership extended into the corporate world as the Managing Director of Optimal Performance Solutions, a company specialising in training, education, and consultancy.

Shane holds undergraduate qualifications in Human Physiology and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with the National Strength and Conditioning Association. His expertise was further recognised through his role as an Advisory Board member of the Australian Tactical Strength and Conditioning Association and as a Faculty member of the Tactical Research Unit at Bond University’s Institute of Health Sciences.

In addition to his practical experience, Shane is a prolific researcher with five peer-reviewed publications. He is also a sought-after keynote speaker, an entrepreneur, and a business owner, advocating strongly for preventative health strategies. His career reflects a dedication to improving performance and health outcomes through education, research, and strategic leadership.

Scott Logan

Human Performance Director

 

With over 16 years of experience coaching Olympic and professional athletes, Scott brings a wealth of expertise in high-performance training and strength and conditioning. Currently the Head of Strength and Conditioning at Squash New Zealand, Scott previously served as Head of Physical Performance for New Zealand’s Men’s Black Sticks Hockey team from 2012 to 2022. In addition, he spent over a decade as a Strength and Conditioning Coach with High-Performance Sport New Zealand, where he also worked as a Coach Education Consultant for the Core Knowledge Coaching Program.

 

A former international athlete with the New Zealand Men’s Water Polo team, Scott holds a Master’s degree with first-class honours in Sports Science and Strength and Conditioning. His extensive experience spans multiple sports, including hockey, cricket, netball, kayaking, squash, triathlon, rowing, cycling, rugby, basketball, and water polo.

 

An accomplished presenter, Scott has delivered talks nationally and internationally on topics such as Max Aerobic Speed training, conditioning for team sports, training load monitoring, and hamstring training. Dedicated to bringing elite training principles to all athletes, he now extends his expertise to help everyday athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and beginners reach their peak performance, fitness, and health goals.

Fabian Wybrow

Expedition Guide & Mobility Director 

 

As an expedition guide, human performance specialist and former elite cyclist, Fabian has developed a unique and comprehensive skill set from years of guiding teams in challenging outdoor environments. With a Bachelor of Science in Physiology, specialising in elite sport physical preparation, Fabian combines scientific knowledge with practical expertise to help teams and individuals excel in high-performance settings.

 

Fabian’s background as a professional 4WD driving instructor adds further depth to his capabilities, positioning him as a mobility expert who can confidently navigate diverse terrains and train others to do the same. His skill in leading teams through rugged landscapes is complemented by his focus on building leadership and communication skills within each group he works with. Through tailored expedition experiences, Fabian fosters strong communication and collaborative skills, helping participants refine their leadership abilities and interpersonal dynamics under challenging conditions.

 

Fabian’s holistic approach to expedition leadership emphasises resilience, adaptability, and critical thinking—qualities essential for high-performance teams aiming to overcome obstacles together and achieve sustainable growth in any environment.
